I’ve always believed that being good at what you do is only half the battle.

 

You can be an expert, know your stuff and genuinely want to help people. But if your clients don't understand the value, selling becomes harder than it needs to be.

 

My own journey into sales wasn’t straightforward. Growing up with ADHD and trying to meet the academic expectations of my Taiwanese parents taught me that being smart isn't always about knowing more - sometimes it's about communicating what you know.

 

That lesson followed me into sales in 2004, where I discovered a talent for connecting with people, simplifying complex ideas and helping businesses grow.

 

In 2017, I founded Flying Kite to help experts and established business owners sell more, in less time, to the right clients.

 

Today, I do that through StorySelling, group sales coaching, workshops, training and keynote speaking — helping experts clarify their message, communicate their value and have better sales conversations without becoming “salesy”.

 

After more than two decades in sales, I've learned one thing:

Great selling isn't about knowing more. It's about making what you know easier to understand, value and act on.
